Follow this link to the deck list and description. I've been playtesting around the store lately, so some of you have seen and even played against a version of this deck. tappedout.net/mtg-decks/black-red-and-dirty/I call it "Black, Red and Dirty", because it almost feels like cheating when you play this deck. Cards like Inquisition of Kozilek, Duress, Sadistic Sacrament, and Mark of Mutiny will make you fell like that.

Justin before i comment on this deck, I would just like to say you are a hero of mine for giving me decklists to analyze it makes me smile... Ok i love black sun just as much as the next man but I think that should be slagstorm. The only example i could see black sun being better is cause it gets shuffled in, and it can be large for the late game. But if the late game is your concern cut bolts for doom blades (which i think your fine on that). Arc trail is great but every think you hit with arc trail can be hit with pyroclasm (except for players). Which your winning conditions tend to be quite massive and 1-2 damage I feel like isnt as good as catching a cawgo/boros player over extending. Then you get to laugh straight in their face for gettin like 1-4 cards for card advantage over the 2 you would get with arc trail. Ok your winning conditions. Justin, this is not your vampire deck. Bloodghast does not need to be in it .id throw in a magma pheonix and add 3 mimic vats. Your control allows you to kill creatures and vat is the perfect thing to capitalize on. Also nothing for nothing but if u kill a single squadron hawk and they have 3 more in hand and are looking to equip, you have infinite blockers against it... The vat is alsi BEAUTIFUL with the titans. They come into play, 1st ability goes off, they have haste and attack, 2nd ability goes off. 2 titan abilities going off every turn seems pretty lethal no matter which titan it is. Finally, i really appreciate the creativity with the masticore but its uneeded. If there is anything that is that is worth taking over, it is most likely too big of a threat which you would have lost, or leave the controlling up to mark of mutiny. I would throw in a wurm coil engine for the life gain and if he goes to the graveyard u vat him gain some life and u get tokens. *NOTE if the token of wurmcoil engine off mimic vat dies, the token hits the graveyard and u still get the 2 3/3 tokens of of infinite mimic vats... Ok i know I said finally, but I know this deck is good but please keep working on the black green white also. Its a great deck.

Thanks Aaren! You always have good insight and I consider your decks very innovative so I appreciate the opinions.
I agree with you. I think in playtesting this deck it was caught between midrange and control and needed to go one way or another. Add Nantuko Shade and Vampire Nighthawk to make it midrange or add your above mentioned cards and make it more control.
The W/B/G deck is good. I playtested it this weekend at the store and REALLY like it. I think it needs some tweaking but it is really interesting. I played an absolutely epic game vs. Dino's Blue Engine that literally lasted 2 hours. He had Wurmcoil engine and kept staring at my Glissa and Thrun knowing he could not attack. Block with Glissa, then block with Thrun next turn. So good. The swords are ridiculous.
