Everyone knows that my favorite deck is U/W Control. However, I've played with the Caw Blade archetype and hate playing the deck and don't find it fun. At the same time, regular U/W control doesn't cut it when the Caw blade build has so much more technology in it. So, what is the solution then? 22!!
3 Mass Polymorph 3 Jace, the Mind Sculptor 3 Gideon Jura 1 Jace Beleren 1 Iona, Shield of Emeria 1 Emrakul, the Aeons Torn 4 Preordain 2 Mana Leak 4 Spell Pierce 2 Stoic Rebuttal 2 See Beyond 2 White Sun Zenith 4 Squadron Hawks 3 Day of Judgement
4 Colonade 4 Glacial Fortress 4 Seacrome Coast 3 Island 4 Plains 1 Misty Rainforest 1 Arid Mesa 4 Inkmoth nexus
Just wanted to share my ideas with people. Lovethis deck and it seems very successful so far

I played this last night and it is fun. Anytime you drop Emrakul its fun, lets face it.
I know it sounds nut, but I would drop preordain for more control. I would like to see Condemn and Journey to Nowhere mainboard. With Jace, you don't really need to card advantage of Preordain, and I would rather have weapons do defend myself while I wait for Mass Polymorph. That's how I built my Bant Mass Poly deck.

Now here's the differecne here as opposed to other control decks. With this being a combo deck, the preordains allow me to fix it a little easier.
Now my real question which I should have made more clear I think is do i exchange the one of Jace Beleren to win Jace wars, or do I take him out for a one of Foresee or a Jace's Ingenuity?
Also, my other question is what combination of counterspells do you reccomend? It's definately 4 Spell Pirece, but i mean is it 2 MAna Leak, 2 Stoic Rebuttal, 3 Leak, 1 Rebuttal, 4 Leaks?

i like the 3 leak, 1 rebuttle and 4 pierces due to the fact ur trying to stall till your combo goes off more earlier game as oppose to relying on hard counters late game

I agree...I think three leaks is the magic number and it allows you to put in 3 flashfreeze in the sideboard, leaving some room for other stuff.
