Many have seen or heard Aaren and I playing this weird deck, so I thought I'd start a thread around it. In fact, Aaren and I are playing similar variants and sharing our notes/experiences to perfect the build.
There are some subtle differences, I think the main being Aaren mainboards Wall Of Tanglecord and Baneslayer Angel, and I mainboard Doom Blade and Sun Titan.
Anyway, this is the list I would like to run (Need the Catacombs and 1 Lotus Cobra).
[Creatures] 20 1 Acidic Slime 3 Birds of Paradise 2 Glissa, the Traitor 2 Grave Titan 1 Lotus Cobra 1 Obstinate Baloth 4 Squadron Hawk 3 Stoneforge Mystic 1 Sun Titan 2 Thrun, the Last Troll
[Spells] 16 3 Awakening Zone 3 Doom Blade 1 Grafted Exoskeleton 3 Green Sun's Zenith 4 Inquisition of Kozilek 1 Sword of Body and Mind 1 Sword of Feast and Famine
[Lands] 24 5 Forest 3 Stirring Wildwood 4 Sunpetal Grove 8 Swamp 4 Verdant Catacombs
Sideboard: 1 Basilisk Collar 2 Leyline of Sanctity 3 Go for the Throat 3 Kor Firewalker 3 Naturalize 1 Obstinate Baloth 2 River Boa
This deck has a strange distribution of cards, with a lot of 'one-ofs' and 'two-ofs' but the Green Sun's Zenith adds flexibility. On paper it looks awkward, but it actually works.
Awakening Zone remains one of the most versatile cards in standard right now. Turn 2 Awakening Zone potentially means turn 4 Grave Titan or Sun Titan. It also provides blockers, mana for equip, and even targets for equipment. Its good.
I want to try Grafted Exoskeleton per Aaren's advice. Something about an infectious Glissa makes me happy, or even a 3/3 Squadron hawk with infect.
Let me know what you think.

dude justin! the grafted exoskeleton is funny I will not lie. But if they deal with it its our only infect source.... im liking either a third sword not sure which or maybe even sword of vengeance (the lost sword in magic). Something about a first striking vigilence shawk or glissa or baneslayer especially seems pretty good... By the way I am running the walls of tanglecord sideboard, manny convinced me so i could throw in more cobras and an extra equip. I have some math to show you by the way. I did some prob and stat and considering we only get 4 land we have a chance of having a 57% chance of getting out a titan/baneslayer or equip out turn IN OUR OPENING HAND!!! (just the first seven cards) not even drawing into it. Its pretty nice the awakening zone adds some crazy shit to it...
Either way with ur deck I still like the 4 marsh flats with it and actually feel you can play less lands... my build only runs 22. you have enough ramp to help ya out. I would maybe run 23 and add a 4th zenith. Im sorry justin but I cant stress it enough how critical that 4th green sun is... if u want my advice anyways.
River boa does interest me however...hmmmmm *scratches chin*....
