Limited-some tips for drafting at the store

I'd like for everyone at the store to get better at drafting. Right now we're playing scars and its a difficult set to draft. But there are some basic thingss i think alot of people in the store can benefit from if they pay attention to what the winning decks have.

1. Bombs- myr battlesphere, mimic vat, putrfax, volition reins, are all examples of bombs in the format. These cards are the win conditions and the cards you dont want your opponent to take. These are a priority to take.

2. Removal- I can't stress enough how good removal is. Especially in this format where there's little removal. Revoke existance, shatter, the 3/3 destroy an artifact guy, even the seemingly bad tower of calamities, are all examples of good removal.

3. Power/toughness ratio- the average stats in scars are 2/2. anything higher is usually really good. like the 3/5 spider with reach or the 2/4 metalcraft elephant are strong cards. but also keep in mind cost efficiency. for example scoria elemental, the 5/1 for 5 is worse than playing an extra land.

I'd like to see more people make 3-0 every week as a sign of people getting better as opposed to the same people seemingly winning every week. Any oother questions let me know and I'll try to help you. I'm not the best player buti consider myself a solid drafter

I can Safely say i have become a better draft learning from you guys i was a 0-3 for awhile now im constistenly 2-1 or 3-0!!! Other Bombs in that set that PMFUTA is Steel Hellkite and WormCoil Engine or even contagion engine!!! SOOO GOOD

Some other bombs at the uncommon level also exist. Things like darksteel axe, the smith cycle, glimmerpoint stag, the hippogriff, myr galvanizer and so on. though some aren't bombs they're all high level picks
