This time, I truly think I will be playing the strongest form of the UW control deck that I have seen so far in standard. I think it has the capability to smash all ;D Dreams will be crushed and tears shed so i want there to be more people than normal there for this coming sunday. anyone able to confirm?

Things didn't go so well for either of us... If I play this Sunday, it will be some sort of aggro deck, I think. I really like WW Quest, but I think I can make it better. Here's a version, splashing blue to help bust out the combo. I playtested it online and it works very well. 3 Ajani Goldmane 2 Argentum Armor 1 Elixir of Immortality 4 Glacial Fortress 4 Glint Hawk 4 Kor Skyfisher 4 Memnite 4 Ornithopter 12 Plains 4 Preordain 4 Quest for the Holy Relic 4 Seachrome Coast 3 Stoneforge Mystic 2 Sword of Body and Mind 1 Sword of Vengeance 4 Trinket Mage Sideboard: 1 Basilisk Collar 4 Devout Lightcaster 4 Journey to Nowhere 4 Kor Firewalker 2 Spell Pierce Trinket Mage is so useful and works almost like a 2nd set of Stoneforge Mystics. I would play 4 Stoneforge Mystics and drop the Sword of Vengeance, but I only have three [sad face]. Eilixir lets me gain some life and cycle back any lost creatures since I only play 23 which is kind of low for this deck. Obviously, Preordain is the very, very good in this deck. Let me know what you think.

Btw, made some adjustments to the sideboard and mainboard.
Added Basilisk Collar to the mainboard. It turns Kor Skyfisher into Vampire Nighthawk.
In the Sideboard:
-2 Spell Pierce +3 Luminarch Ascension
So...Sword of Vengeance is out of this build.

LOL i like that its turning into a control deck. I think the use of Trinket mage is really good. it acts almost like fauna shaman

Its really a combo deck, right? That's why I thought about some scry ability and the ability to search for the cards you need. Adding Basilisk Collar also gives Trinket Mage one more item to search for if you have all the Ornithopters or Memnites you need to play Glint Hawk and Kor Skyfisher.
This will be a deck in progress, but I would eventually like to add a 4th Stoneforge Mystic. I was also thinking about playing Venser if I could get my hands on them. Maybe remove the 3 Ajani Goldmanes for the 4th Mystic and 2 Vensers.

well, quest is weird in that it's somewhere in between aggro and combo. the best quest decks should be able to win without the combo and the combo being just a free victory sometimes. But i see it as an aggro deck. and i like the use of Vencer and trinket mage. And i definately don't think you need counter spells. You shouldn't be afraid to tap out because its an aggro deck that should have a great match up agianst the ramp decks

Agreed. Kicking off quest almost ensures a win with Argentum Armor; however, like any deck you need to be able to win several different ways.
I think Venser does provide some nice synergy and all his powers have a good use. You could exile Stoneforge Mystic to search for more equipment for example. Making stuff unblockable is just good. His ultimate is ridiculous. I think 2 of him is sufficient.
If I get extra I may play 1 or 2 Celestial Colonnades. Not crazy about the tapland in a small mana base, but it provides an extra win condition and/or flying blocker.
There are always ways to make a deck better...

Did you think of putting everflowing chalices for another thing for the trinket mage to search up?

I actually did. The problem is, I really don't need any mana ramp with this deck since the curve is so low.
Trinket Mage is mainly there to search out Memnites and Ornithopters so I can get counters on Quest for the Holy Relic or play Glint Hawk and Kor Skyfisher. I also use him to search for Basilisk Collar and Elixir of Immortality.
I thought about Infiltration Lens for some card advantage, but I'm on the fence with that one.
The Elixir has saved me a few times and is great against removal decks since I get to shuffle my graveyard back into my library. I only play 23 creatures with this build which is kinda low for a Quest deck, but it works with Preordain and Trinket Mage.
