Another good tournament, despite a slightly smaller turnout past weekend. This weekend saw three new finishers in the top 3, which proves the diversity of players and decks we see on a week to week basis.
In third place, Amanda Fazio played a relentless Eldrazi Green deck that netted a 2-1 record for the tournament. Highlight for the tournament involved a tough round one win against Mono Black Control despite losing most of her big win conditions to Sadistic Sacrament. Congrats Amanda!
In second place, yours truly, Justin Hering. I played U/W/g Mass Polymorph, winning an especially entertaining match against Matt Westbrook's U/W control in 1 game. Game 1 took almost 43 minutes and saw three Mass Polymorphs and a hard cast of Emrakul, as well as Baneslayer Angels, Frost Titans, and Gideons. In fact, during the match, 5 different Planeswallkers hit the battlefield. Final record, 2-0-1.
And in first place...Kevin (sorry, I don't know the last name). Kevin played a borrowed RDW constructed by Matt. In the end, Kevin and I shook hands to draw and split packs, which turned out to be a good decision. In a casual match RDW beat U/W/g Mass Polymorph pretty soundly, 2-0.
Other players included Anja with Genesis Elves (who also finished 2-1), Manny playing U/W Control, Matt playing U/W control, Aaron with Mono Black Control, and Ryan playing Antelopes.
It was a good tournament and fun times were had by all.

I think we're seeing stronger decks in general at the constructed tournaments, which is a good thing.
