Hello there people. I am a degenerate wargamer - which is much better than being a degenerate gambler (and less expensive). I offer that tongue in cheek remark because what separates wargames from other kinds of boardgames is the delectable combination of history, risk, fantasy ("what if") and opportunities to visit destruction on opponents. Basically, if you are not gambling (or weighing risks) while attempting to destroy an opponent - you ain't playing a wargame. The best wargames are a perfect marriage of poker (reading an opponent while remaining inscrutable), chess (maneuver) and craps (chance). So to you Fantasy Games and Hobbies patrons, if you are true wargamers I offer you something priceless - ME. I love wargames. I own many of them. I also know military history. If there is a subject you find fascinating (Rome, WWII, Civil War, Crusades, etc.) there is probably a wargame about it that I have. And I am willing to teach you how to play - and then play against you (and whoop yo ass). Contact me at SGunar@optonline.net and we can arrange a meeting or duel at the store.

Old war gamers never die. I am one of the oldest being 64. I have a group of similar aged guys who play every week and would like new blood. we are always trying out new games. We also play JR3 and go to the Minature conventions like Historicon and fall-in.
If you would like to talk email me . Warstephen
